fulfillment of this requirement.
What happens if your application is approved?
- Within four weeks of the application deadline, the program administrator will contact you by letter to advise whether your application for a grant has been approved.
- If approved, the program administrator will send you a letter with two copies of the Education Grant Agreement form.
- Sign both copies of the Education Grant Agreement form and return them along with a blank, void cheque (payments will be deposited directly into your bank account) and a copy of your tuition fees to the program administrator.
- The program administrator will sign both agreement forms and return one to you for your records.
- The grant amount is divided into two equal payments, one at the beginning of the course and one following successful completion of the course.
The second payment is conditional upon receipt of a copy of your tuition fees and a transcript of your marks at the end of the course.
- The education grant is available on a session-by-session basis. This means you must
reapply at the end of every academic session to be eligible for an additional grant.
- Please note that all grants issued through this program are taxable as income. Grant recipients will be issued a T4A slip at the end of every calendar year in which they received payments.
